The bank is undergoing major transformational work, upgrading business critical and customer facing software's, processes and applications - Spanning multiple years and with investments of multi-millions of dollars.

Domain knowledge isn't important here, we are needing talent with a change mindset, who want to make an impact and bring their technical expertise to the table to solve large scale and complex technical problems.

Role overview:

You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the banks enterprise applications. Working agile, and collaborating with talented engineering and project peers, you will share your technical expertise in frontend technologies to help build robust and scalable solutions. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior developers, driving the adoption of best practices, and contributing to the evolution of the banks technology stack.

Key deliverables:

• Design, develop, and maintain business critical and customer-facing enterprise applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Lead the implementation of microfrontend architecture, modernize monolithic applications, and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Advocate and implement Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality standards.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications through best practices and innovative solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into our projects as appropriate.

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years of hands on experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on business critical and/or customer-facing enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks and libraries, specifically React.
• Experience with microfrontend architecture and the modernization of monolithic applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of backend technologies and API integration.
• Experience in developing accessible and responsive web applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
