Their mission is to drive innovation, streamline operations, and empower organisations to achieve growth through digital transformation. The organisations are seeking a dynamic Director of Consulting to join their team.

About you

You will be an experienced Director of Consulting with demonstrable experience setting up a digital transformation consulting practice previously.

The Job

As the Director of Consulting, you will be responsible for spearheading their transformation consulting practice. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of setting up and scaling consulting services from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in defining their consulting strategies, building a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional value to their clients. Additionally, you will focus on building and enhancing their internal digital capabilities to support their growth and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Lead and manage the transformation consulting team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive transformation strategies tailored to client needs.

Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding their client base and service offerings.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions.

Project Management: Oversee the execution of transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of top-tier consultants, promoting professional growth and skill development.

Digital Capability Building: Drive the development and enhancement of internal digital capabilities to support consulting services and operational efficiency.

Thought Leadership: Stay across industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning the company as a thought leader in the transformation space.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in setting up and scaling a consulting practice, with a focus on transformation services.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Client Focus: Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional service.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of transformation methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Digital Proficiency: Experience in building and implementing digital capabilities to support consulting operations.

Communication Skills/Story Telling: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively pull stakeholders on a journey.
