The Role

As Systems Developer, you will be pivotal in developing software, web, and multi-media applications that drive quality business outcomes for our operational systems and applications. You will leverage technology to improve business efficiencies and processes, ensuring that our solutions are aligned with organizational and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Management: Support a team of technical staff to deliver effective and efficient application management capabilities, ensuring robust support for our operational systems and applications.
• Code Development: Prepare specialized code that aligns with organizational and industry standards, enabling consistent and manageable system/application development.
• Technical Expertise: Contribute technical expertise to requirements analysis, enhancing the quality of solution designs in line with the ICT Strategy to meet user needs.
• Testing & Feedback: Complete testing and gather feedback to improve quality, ensure continual improvement, and reduce operational risks of developed systems/applications.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle process to assist in ongoing maintenance and development programs.
• Post-Release Activities: Undertake post-release activities to build a knowledge base for future build and release cycles.
• Application Support: Provide 3rd level application support and problem resolution to minimize the impact of system/application-related service outages.

Essential Requirements

• Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in IT or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry knowledge and experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience in software development/support.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure (preferably Azure) with modern DevOps methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.NET MVC and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and/or other modern data stores.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and IIS.
• AIIMS Principles: Thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes, or a willingness to obtain competence within 12 months.
