Senior AEM Developer

Day rate contract: 6 months intial with a view to extend.

Overview: You will be joining as a Senior AEM Developer for multiple digital initiatives and programs of work.

• Work with cutting-edge technologies, focusing on designing, coding, and deploying AEM components and templates.
• The role involves collaborating with tech, design, content, and product teams to deliver high-quality web experiences and implementing strategies for headless content consumption and content previewing.

Responsibilities/ Requirements:

• Develop and maintain scalable AEM components, templates, workflows, and services, ensuring performance standards and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure UI/UX design feasibility.
• Troubleshoot AEM issues, optimize performance, integrate with third-party services, and implement headless AEM solutions using CaaS and SPA, while staying updated with AEM advancements and best practices.

Technical experience.

• Strong AEM development experience.
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture, components, templates, and workflows.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX - React/Angular
• Experience with AEM version 6.5 or higher.
• Familiarity with AEM development tools like CRXDE, IntelliJ, and Maven.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party service integration.
• Understanding of web content management and digital marketing.
