Role Title: IT Project Manager

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 23/12/2024 + Possible Extension

Location: Any office across NSW / Hybrid WFH

This is an exciting opportunity to join a government organisation! This is a unique role that will be leading the design and delivery of IT concepts within civil works projects, this includes: Signal & speed cameras, traffic signals and CCTV.

About You:

• Proven experience managing the IT capability of the installation and design of: Traffic Signal Cameras, Scats Loops, CCTV and Sensors
• Sound knowledge of both camera and road sensor technology
• Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery and installation of technical projects to time, cost and quality

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertake on-site feasibility assessments for installations provide technical expert advice and contribute to informed decision-making processes based on evidence-based solutions to change driver behaviour for safer roads
• Attend project sites to provide on-site monitoring of works carried out by internal and external resources for quality and adherence to contract terms and project scope
• Prepare quality tender documentation for major projects per governance frameworks and legislative requirements

Please note: This role may require travel within the state therefore, a full NSW government drivers license is required. The work vehicle will be provided.
