Talenza is looking for a Cutover and Environments Manager to work on a large scale deployment of ERP for our retail, supply chain and FMCG client.This is a specialist Cutover & Environments role and requires someone who has worked in this standalone role previously as opposed to being a small part of a PM role. You will have extensive skills in deploying large scale ERP systems, able to to work with the business and technology teams to ensure testing, configuration and 'go live' are a success.

• Rate: $1200-1300 p/d (including Super)
• Location: North Sydney (Hybrid working 3 days onsite)
• Length: 12 Months

Environment Management

• Collaborate with integration team, data migration team, testing, IT infrastructure, multiple application/platform owners, vendors and SIs to ensure the test environments are established as part of the cutover plan.
• Validate the test and production environments including hardware, software, network, and data configurations are fit for purpose.
• Control changes to environments and co-ordinate environment refresh.
• Support the governance and environment release management processes, and map the environments schedule in Azure DevOps
• Resolve conflicts, coordinate and resolve defects related to environments to ensure environment availability
• Communicate environment availability across all relevant stakeholders

Cutover Plan Management

• Responsible for managing the cutover process into the various environments and ultimately into Production
• Responsible for the development of a cutover plan that includes timelines, dependencies, resources, sequencing, priority and success criteria, within a structured framework that ensures a smooth transition from legacy systems to the new ERP system

Execution of the Cutover Plan

• Co-ordinate the progress of the overarching deployment schedule and manage the corresponding cutover activities to connect all parties involved.
• Manage issues and take corrective actions by tracking, prioritising, and working with project teams to resolve them
• Monitor and prepare summary report on cutover progress, results, and issues
• Conduct post-cutover reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in future cutover processes
• Ensure stabilisation and address any post-cutover issues promptly with the Hypercare team.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in leading deployments on 3 or more large scale ERP projects in a Cutover capacity
• Experience managing ERP environments and familiarity with Azure Services
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and Cloud principles
• Demonstrable expertise with engineering tools such as MS DevOps, PowerShell, Service Now, Confluence
• Experience working with Agile delivery frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, waterfall and hybrid set ups
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and executing complex cutover activities
• Solid background of working with Product Owners, project delivery teams and other stakeholders at various organisation levels to ensure alignment of priorities, manage dependencies and remove impediments
• Exposure to retail, supply chain or FMCG systems would be advantageous
