Talenza has been engaged to source a Senior Business Analyst/SME - Market Risk.

The role sits within a supportive, experience and dynamic team that are embarking on a new program.

Essential experience:

• 3 years Business Analyst experience (minium)
• Experience within trading, market risk, quant analysis (preferrence)
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• Financial Markets technology delivery
• Knowledge of Commodity products and associated risk measures
• Knowledge of financial markets, market risk and related systems and infrastructure.
• Traded market risk experience
• Familiarity with APS 116 and required risk metrics
• Strong business and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail

Desirable

• Previous line role in Market and or Credit Risk
• Defining the requirements for financial models which are based on regulatory obligations.
• IRRBB experience
• Counterparty credit risk (SACCR) experience
• Understanding of how FRTB will impact Market Risk management
• Experience in risk reporting environments.
• Experience in using VBA and/or SQL an advantage

Rate: aligned with experience/ market rates Length of contract: 12 months with likely extension based on lengthy program pipelineOffice attendance: 3 days per week preferred Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered for this position.
