Work with on of the worlds most prestigious financial services based in Australia. They provide a wide range of services including listings, trading, clearing, and settlement for equities, derivatives, and fixed income products. The offer innovative and technology-driven solutions to investors, companies, and market participants. They operate in a hybrid environment with 3 days in their Sydney CBD 2000 office.
Role:
As the ITOM continuity manager, you will be a part of the Technical Service Owner Community of Practice. You will be leading major incident scenarios and management for critical applications, infrastructure and data bases. Key responsibilities:
- Set-up and communicate policies, procedures and responsibilities involved with IT service continuity
- Manage IT service continuity process relating to ensuring system backs and system restoration testing
- Pro-active incident scenario planning including executing regular "fire drills"
- Identify, lead and deliver improvements in the IT service ownership framework
- Board and Executive level reporting, analysis and presentation
You will have:
- Experience in managing major incidents from a business and customer impact perspective
- Must have experience working in 24/7 mission critical environments
- Experience implementing proactive incident recovery procedure including restoration plans
- Understanding of financial markets in relation to risk and compliance requirements
- Critical review to ensure standards are met and continuous improvements opportunities are identified and service acceptance requirements are met
- Facilitate and lead communities of practice workshops to uplift, mature and optimise capabilities
- Deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITIL or COBIT
- Strong IT related risk management including 3 lines of defence
- Service Now experience highly advantageous
