Role Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) across our clients organisation. You'll be responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating between technical teams and HR stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the project. Your technical expertise, combined with your experience in HR systems, will be essential in driving success and aligning the system's functionalities with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of HRIS implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, external vendors, and business units to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep the project on track.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
- Ensure system integration and data migration are seamless, and that the new HR system is properly configured to meet the organization's needs.
- Provide post-implementation support and training to end users to maximize the system's value and adoption.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and optimization within HR technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading large-scale HRIS implementations from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system architecture.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Technical proficiency in system integration, data migration, and configuration.
