Organisation: You will be joining a consulting partner on a high-profile multi-year transformation engagement within the Healthcare sector. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Macquarie business park 2113 with 3 days on site.Role Overview:You will be joining a platform transformation project. As the Finance Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing financial data and creating insightful reports and visualizations using Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, support business decision-making, and drive financial performance. This is a unique opportunity to apply your finance and data analytics expertise within a dynamic Microsoft environment. Key responsibilities:

• Work with financial data using Microsoft Fabric to analyze, clean, and transform large datasets.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize financial trends, performance metrics, and key insights.
• Use data modeling techniques to forecast financial outcomes and assist in budgeting, planning, and financial performance analysis.
• Support the integration and analysis of data from multiple sources

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in financial data analysis, preferably with experience in cloud-based data platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and its components, including Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory
• Microsoft AX or Dynamics F and O experience is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial metrics, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Experience in building and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and working with structured and unstructured datasets.

• Familiarity with data governance and ensuring data quality across financial systems.
