Project Director with strong people managment and project/program delivery experience to support a complex, large, multi year program on a core Energy Management System replacement. This is on a initial 1 year contract with likely extension, based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of the energy replacement project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and optimize project strategies, including resource allocation, risk management, and project goals alignment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and other partners.
• Team Management: Build and lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and alignment with project objectives.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure project deliverables align with financial goals.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project stability and success.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
• Must have proven experience managing large-scale Energy/Resources/Utilities/Mining IT projects, system replacement experience is an advantage.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in delivering on complex, large IT projects across an Enterprise.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. With the ability to lead crossfunctional teams to encourage collaboration to meet project deliverables.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
